Perfect as a wedding or party favour, all of the Passionflour Bakery biscuits are made by hand to a secret recipe. Once mixed the dough is so delicate that it has to be chilled so that it can be rolled out without breaking. Each cookie is then cut out by hand and baked to golden perfection. After cooling, every single biscuit is lovingly decorated with royal icing and packaged by hand.
Currently biscuits are available in Gingerbread and Vanilla Shortcake, but I'm hoping to add a Rich Chocolate biscuit to the collection in the near future. As all the biscuits are handmade, there may be some small variations in colour and design, but I think this is what makes them so special.
Vanilla Biscuits: wheat flour, sugar, butter, golden syrup, whole egg, and vanilla extract.
Gingerbread Biscuits: wheat flour, sugar, butter, treacle, golden syrup, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and bicarbonate of soda.
Icing:ing sugar, water, meriwhite meringue powder, food colours*
Our cookies & cupcakes contain Gluten, Milk, Wheat and Egg. Products are suitable for Vegetarians . Our cookies are made in our own kitchens where we also prepare lots of other scrummy things which may include nuts and sesame seeds.
How long will they last?
Kept in a tin or airtight container cookies will stay yummy for 3 months, not sure you'll be able to leave them this long though.
